I am officially a Voyager after this! Completely agree - soooo much negativity out there right now. Stock market, wars, inflation, economy, violence, etc... glad I’m not alone!

When I can’t avoid being exposed to the news, I make a point to counteract the often isolated instances of violence for example by saying, “And billions of people did NOT do that and will never in their lifetimes.” I find it helps me to feel calmer and better.

I don't read any e-mail that I don't recognize within a nanosecond. However, there is no escaping a well-put-together piece that is so right on the money. There is no way in hell, even as the petty person that I am that I wouldn't tell you for whatever it is worth that you are correct. How is that for a run on sentance?

After a recent mental health scare, I was advised by my therapist to stop watching the news. I can't say if it has helped my outlook, but I can say the news isn't safe these days. "Trigger Warnings" are a new thing and would not exist if bad news wasn't so prevalent. That said, these warnings oftentimes come too late. If I'm already lying on a couch the chance that I could turn off the television is nill. The important news will get filtered down to me eventually. The news like Oliva Newtwon John's death, that important, but not critical will also come.

Businesses like Target, are just coming around to recognize that thier are customers who suffer from issues like Agoraphobia et all who need an enviornement altered slightly to shop. Media should have a standard with the way news is disseminated. SORRY if I said too much. The choice was either to agree with you vociferously (?) or not at all.

Mahalo for this!
